How can you help?
1. Go onto Haines Facebook page: www.facebook.com/HainesAC
2. Under the company picture on the right side, click the LIKE button
3. On the left side, enter a message promoting the race and attach a picture (can be at the race, a team meeting or a fundraising event). Remember to include in the post your name, team name and race name so we know who gets the credit.
4. Haines will donate $5 for your post!

Update! The Amazing Race!

Update* The Amazing race went very well and the couple that won our $150 gift certificate was so thrilled, because they had recently just bought one of our high end systems. Haines is going to be a Rally Stop in the event where Linda and Randy, our Comfort Consultants, will have a table set up to hand out info and freebies. Participants for the event will be visiting landmarks all over Bonita and as Bonita’s first A/C company and the fact we are celebrating 50 years, we will have pictures displayed highlighting our history.
The event is from 2-5pm Sunday February 17, 2013.

“Holiday Bear Hug” shares 30 bears with The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida

The Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center partnered with Haines and other area businesses to share a “Holiday Bear Hug” with patients at The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.  The holiday promotion encouraged businesses to create a customized bear that was displayed throughout December and presented at a Holiday Bear Hug reception on Dec. 17. The bears were delivered on Monday, Dec.21 to The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida for Christmas. 

We had a lot of fun creating our Haines bear, which was nicknamed “Bobby Bear” after the owner, Robert Miller.  It is a great cause and we can’t wait to participate again next year!

Haines Donates $2000 to Naples Humane Society

Haines Donates $2,000 to Humane Society
Every new A/C system installed in August benefits animals in need

Haines Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is a proud partner of the Naples Humane Society and dedicated a portion of sales for all new residential air conditioning systems installed in the month of August be donated to this great cause.

“On behalf of our rescued pets awaiting adoption, we are sincerely appreciative of the generosity demonstrated by Haines Air Conditioning & Refrigeration in support of our no-kill shelter. As a local non-profit, we rely 100% on private support like this to save thousands of orphaned pets in our community each and every year,” Michael Simonik, Executive Director.

Linda Hughes and Randy Proctor Comfort Consultants for Haines, met with Michael Simonik this week to present the check. “We are excited that our donation total came to $2,000 for the promotion,” reported Shannon Cellamare, General Manager of Haines A/C. “We have been working with the Naples Humane Society in other ways, however this was the first donation event we have held. As pet lovers, all the Haines employees are excited to be involved in this partnership.” Haines plans on continuing this relationship through involvement in other Humane Society sponsored events and featuring adoptable pets on their website, www.hainesac.com, and in their company newsletters.
